Óscar Colchado’s work received the National Novel Prize from the Federico Villarreal University in 1996. Since then, this fantastic novel has become a benchmark for exploring the Andean worldview of death from fantasy.
The play tells the story of Rosa Wanka, a woman from the Andes, who transits from the world of the living to that of the dead. This adventure mixes the mysticism typical of a visit to the underworld, keeping the political and social situation of the moment as context.
On this occasion, we invite you to enjoy the disassembly “Rosa Cuchillo” by Ana Correa, on the occasion of the commemoration of the 50 years of the Yuyachkani Group.
