Storytelling
The oral narrators Papo Storytelling and Mario Waranqhamakiy presented the show of stories in Spanish, Quechua and Aymara in tribute to the Peruvian writer José María Arguedas.
José Luis Guardia, better known as Papo Storyteller. He is a promoter of reading, has worked in school libraries and is the creator of the GINO group (Children’s Group for Oral Narration). He has presented his stories and different spaces such as the International Book Fair of Lima, Buenos Aires and Viña del Mar. As well as in the Public Library of Lima and various educational and cultural institutions.
Mario Castillo, known as Mario Waranqhamakiy, has been a Quechua storyteller since he was 10 years old in the indigenous communities of the departments of Andahuaylas and Cusco. He has presented traditional oral narratives in Quechua and Aymara in various cultural spaces and the Lima and Cusco Book Fairs.
