Enrique Casanto carried out the storytelling in Ashaninka and Spanish as part of the commemoration of the International Day of Indigenous Peoples.

Enrique Casanto, researcher, storyteller and artist of the Asháninka people, of the Casanto “orchid” clan of the Perené River in the Peruvian Amazon. He has published numerous books, including “Ashaninka Cosmovision. Indigenous Peoples and Sustainable Development Project ”(2008) and“ La cocina magica asháninca ”(2011), written jointly with the historian Pablo Macera.
