The event was held for the 150th anniversary of the birth of Dora Mayer, and was attended by Sara Beatriz Guardia, Margarita Zegarra, Joel Rojas Huaynates and Alejandro Neyra, who spoke about some specific facets of life and work of Dora Mayer, such as her indigenismo, philosophy, political vision and feminism.
In this way, a well-deserved tribute was paid to the woman who managed to revolutionize the narrow limits of Lima society to actively incorporate all women into it, thus breaking down that biological fatality that was irremediably postponing them to the meager and pale private sphere.
