We share the video of the exhibition “Bibliographic notes. National Museum of Women in the Arts”.

The National Museum of Women in the Arts (NMWA) is the world’s first museum dedicated exclusively to promoting women through the arts. Founded in 1981 by Wilhelmina Cole Holladay, it has sought to present an integrative vision of Art History and proposes itself as a meeting place for reflective debate on the intersection of gender, identity and creativity. Among its activities, it includes an exhibition program that presents different emerging and underrepresented women artists from the states or countries in which the museum has a presence.

The curatorship – headed by art historian Enrique Mendoza – attempts to promote and disseminate the history and development of the National Museum of Women in the Arts through various publications that are part of its bibliographic collection.
