Curated by Jorge Luis Chamorro and co-organised with the <em>Centro Cultural de Espa\u00f1a<\/em>, the exhibition brings together the cutting-edge audio-visual productions of eleven artists from the late 20<sup>th<\/sup> century to the present day.<\/p>\n<p>Works by some of the most prominent contemporary artists, from Juan Javier Salazar&#8217;s powerful video performances to Mariano Carranza&#8217;s non-fiction and his Andean skaters, to Harumi Kusen&#8217;s augmented reality proposals will be on display.\u00a0 The exhibition will also explore the use of artificial intelligence in the work of Diego Vel\u00e1squez; the visual fictions of Jorge Luis Chamorro; the audio-visual compositions of Andr\u00e9s Mego; and the eagerly awaited MUVID selection featuring the best of Peruvian music videos.\u00a0 In addition, video installations by Maya Watanabe, Irma Cabrera and Katherinne Fiedler will be presented, along with pieces in variable dimensions by Diego Cendra and Cristian Alarc\u00f3n.<\/p>\n<p>This compendium brings together both, analogue and digital native artists, most of whom live and work outside Peru.\u00a0 Those who reside in the country maintain a constant dialogue with the global arena. All of them have been recognised with prestigious awards, mentions, selections and rave reviews from both official and alternative media, national and international.<\/p>\n<p>With diverse themes covering the city, the body, nature, history, human relationships, society, popular culture and new media, the exhibition offers a fresh, contemporary and critical look at our society and the ways in which we communicate. Some artists are widely recognised, while others represent a creative discovery that gives the exhibition a daring and unsettling air. The exhibition is a continuation of a previous exhibition sponsored by the <em>Centro Cultural de Espa\u00f1a<\/em> entitled <em>\u201cQu\u00e9 hay detr\u00e1s de la ventana\u201d<\/em> (\u201cWhat&#8217;s Behind the Window\u201d), but with a different approach.
